The challenge
The exporter needed a consistent corporate footprint, but utility data, refrigerants, logistics records, and purchased-goods information were held in incompatible systems across multiple facilities.

The team first standardized units, site identifiers, reporting periods, and evidence requirements. Data-quality scoring made estimates visible and prevented incomplete supplier information from being presented with false precision.
A Scope 3 screening exercise used spend and activity proxies to identify material categories. Detailed data collection then focused on the categories most likely to affect the footprint and customer requests.
The final package included calculation files, a methodology note, exception logs, and a reduction-opportunity register, creating a practical bridge between accounting and action.
